Raw food is generally considered to be fruits, veges, nuts, seeds, sprouts and sea vegetables that haven't been heated above 40º C.
It doesn't have to be boring though! In fact, once your taste buds adjust, you will begin to really appreciate the delicious flavours and vibrancy of these foods in their natural state.
I have written a full-colour mini ebook that gives a good introduction to raw food, green juice, nut milk and smoothies. To download your complimentary copy of the Living Synergy mini ebook click here.
Since 2005 I have been living on an all-raw diet as well as having a number of periods of 1 - 21 days of juices only (mainly green juices), and 1 - 7 days fasting on water only. I have found this a good fit for me and my lifestyle. I draw on these experiences during the personal sessions I conduct.
While this lifestyle suits me, I don't expect it to be the same for everyone. I encourage people who are interested to include more raw foods in their diet. I provide support and guidance to help people find what works for them and help them make the transition.
A dietary change towards more raw foods and a plant-based diet leaving out processed foods has a deep effect at a cellular and vibrational level. It becomes a whole person journey that usually brings a lifestyle change with it. Yoga, massage, meditation and good quality rest compliment a raw food lifestyle very well.

Please note that although I don't believe an all-raw diet is right for everyone, my retreats are focused on offering people the opportunity to immerse themselves in an all- or high-raw diet for a short period of time to cleanse and experience for themselves the benefits this lifestyle can bring, even if just for a few days. This is my specialty and what the retreat is set up to provide. As such please be aware that the retreat is a space free of alcohol, coffee, cigarettes, recreational drugs, meat, dairy, processed foods and most cooking, although some light and gentle methods such as steaming and roasting veges for salads are ok if required. Some prepared vegan meals are available from the local organic café as an alternative.
